In order to further strengthen the management of the health food function claim management, eliminate the falsely publicized health food function claims, improve the consumer's scientific cognition and accurate judgment of the health food function claims, avoid confusion with the drug disease prevention and treatment, based on the summary of the health functions approved in the different historical period, on the basis of many arguments organized by experts in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, food, nutrition, etc., on March 28, 2019, the General Administration of Market Regulation issued a consultation on the adjustment of health food function. The announcement of the functional opinions, the research put forward the opinions of adjusting the health care function, mainly including: the first batch of health care functions that are intended to adjust the functional claims, the health care functions to be cancelled, and the health care functions to be further studied and demonstrated. The deadline for soliciting opinions is April 28, 2019.
