Abu Dhabi-based falafel restaurant chain Just Falafel has set itself a target of reaching 200 outlets in the UK over next five years.
The chain currently operates three restaurants in London and is seeking locations for more restaurants in Charing Cross and Croydon.
Just Falafel sated that new stores could be a mix of large multiple franchisees and single-outlet franchisees, reported BigHospitality.
Just Falafel master franchisee UK and Ireland chief executive Michael Biggins stated that the store count of 200 in the UK is a reasonable expansion.
"The three things that would limit us are the availability of quality properties at appropriate prices, having franchisees who are prepared and able to take on development and customer demand," explained Biggins.
"As I have became aware of the realities of the property market in the Greater London area what I don't to do is take the best available site within a targeted trade area - I want to make sure I get the right site."
Just Falafel is expected to launch stores in theUK similar to that in other markets with average size of around 1,200ft².
However, Biggins revealed that the larger stores are likely to be launched in the market.
