Dow and Brenntag are long standing partners in the food industry with cooperation in 26 countries throughout Europe. Brenntag says that it has successfully promoted the range of specialty products from Dow Pharma & Food Solutions into the food and nutrition industry and is now expanding its relationship with Dow into the UK & Ireland.

According to Brenntag, these specialties enable the food industry to produce healthier, better tasting and better looking food with METHOCEL texturisers, WALOCEL texturisers, CLEAR+STABLE acidic stabiliser, WELLENCE gluten free, fat replacement and vegetarian range and FORTEFIBER soluble dietary fibre which are used in many core applications of the food and nutrition markets, such as meat as well as vegetarian products, confectionery and desserts, soups, sauces, fillings, baked goods, dairy and beverages.
