On July 27, 2013, the European Commission published Commission Regulation (EU) No 723/2013, which amends Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1333/2008 regarding the use of extracts of rosemary in certain low fat meat and fish products. The amendment enters into force on September 16, 2013. Relevant regulatory changes will be included in the International Food Additive Database once the amendment is in effect.

Also on July 27, the European Commission published Commission Regulation (EU) No 724/2013, which amends Regulation (EU) No 231/2012 regarding specifications on several polyols. This amendment revises the specification standards of various food additives. This amendment also enters into force on September 16, 2013.
