Novamont saw success at Fruit Logistica 2013 when it presented two new products:
Novamont strawberry
• Compost Label® compostable stickers made of Mater-Bi®, designed and manufactured by Polycart Spa in collaboration with the GPT-Gruppo Poligrafico Tiberino network;

• Dri-Fresh® Resolve® compostable absorbent pads (manufactured by British company Sirane)

The food packaging world was very interested in these products, once again recognising Novamont's commitment in the improvement of environmental sustainability of the agri-food chain.

Food packaging is becoming a primary objective for this company which produces biodegradable plastic. Its wish is to create an integrated production chain in order to improve the sustainability of products starting from the field and right up to our tables.

While biodegradable mulching films are still the most popular product, supported by new ranges of products (tutoring clips, pheromone nozzles and products for the floriculture sector), the synergy between these applications and the new products means Novamont can now cover wide sections of the agri-food sector, improving environmental sustainability for most of its operations.

Thanks to its increasing range of products, Novamont has the chance to strengthen its collaborations with a number important players in the agri-food world.

Mater-Bi® is a widely recognised and appreciated material and the product and customer network created by Novamont attracts those who are interested in the environment and in impact reduction at various levels.
