On August 6, Chile's Ministry of Health adopted an amendment to their Food Health Regulation, permitting the use of two new additives. The full amendment, available in Spanish, can be found in Chile's Official Journal.

The amendment took effect upon publication and has been entered into the International Food Additive Database.
