On October 15, 2018, the SAMR issued the " Management and Measures for the Administration of Mandato…On October 15, 2018, the SAMR issued the " Management and Measures for the Administration of Mandatory National Standards (Draft for Comment)", and seeks for opinions from the public. The deadline for submiting comments and opinions is November 16th, 2018.
The draft of the Measures clearly stipulates the joint formulation, implementation of supervision, interpretation of replies and non-marking drafting units and drafters' information in the inter-departmental and inter-disciplinary aspects of mandatory national standards. The "Measures" will be released in the form of the regulations of the supporting departments of the "Standardization Law".
