Decision of the State Council on Amending Certain Administrative Regulations (Order No. 709)
On March 2, 2019, the State Council issued the "Decision of the State Council on Amending Certain Administrative Regulations" to amend some of the 49 administrative regulations involved in institutional reform, changes in government functions, and reforms. The relevant import and export regulations are the “Implementation Rules for the Border Health and Quarantine Law of the People’s Republic of China”, the “Measures for the Supervision of the Border Ports of the People’s Republic of China”, the “Regulations on the Origin of import and Export Goods of the People’s Republic of China”, Implementation Regulations of Commodity Inspection Law, Regulations on the Administration of import and Export of Endangered Wild Animals and Plants of the People's Republic of China, etc.
 
National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center released foods such as (1R, 2S, 5R)-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-2-(1-methylethyl)cyclohexylcarboxamide, chili red, etc. New varieties of additives for public comment

According to the Regulations on the Administration of New Varieties of Food Additives, the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center released (1R, 2S, 5R)-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl on March 6, 2019. 7 kinds of new food additive products such as -2-(1-methylethyl)cyclohexylformamide and capsicum red were publicly solicited for comments. The deadline for solicitation of hot peppers was 30 days from the date of publication, and the remaining food additives were new. The deadline for comments on the variety is April 18, 2019.
