In January-February of 2019, Azerbaijan exported 79.115 thousand tons of vegetables and fruits worth $ 75.972 million, as reported by the State Customs Committee.

This is 21.842 thousand tons and 17.554 million dollars more than in the same period last year, which entails increases of 38.1 and 30.05 percent, respectively.

In those first 2 first months of the year, Azerbaijan's fruit and vegetable exports accounted for 0.6% of the country's total shipments.
