PurePulseAt the Fruit Logistica in Berlin CoolWave Processing from Wageningen will present its PurePulse technology. With this mild conserving technology fresh juices and other products suitable for pumping are made preservable for longer, whilst keeping vitamins, smell, colour and flavour. Interested visitors can use a pilot set up for a reduced price and discover what benefits PurePulse has to offer them.

PurePulse makes it possible to conserve fresh juice in an economically interesting way, whilst maintaining the fresh characteristics. This extends the shelf life to 21 days. In this way PurePulse offers the possibility to play into the growing demand for fresh juice. At the same time the longer shelf life gives flexibility in the distribution chain and lessens the loss in the supermarket.

PurePulse

Experience the benefits yourself

To let producers and retailers experience the quality, fresh fruit juice that has been conserved with PurePulse will be served at the stall. Besides this, those interested can use a pilot-installation of PurePulse for half of the regular testing cost. This way producers can experience themselves the benefits of using PurePulse without having to invest in it beforehand.

Food grade

The pilot set up is suitable for all products that can be pumped, with particles smaller than 2 mm. Because the complete set up is food grade, the final products can be used for taste research as well as conservation research.

The Fruit Logistica is held from the 6th to the 8th of February. CoolWave Processing can be found in Hall 3.2/B-13A.
