A medical doctor in Nigeria has advised especially men to regularly include African wild lettuce and tomatoes in their diets to ensure a healthy prostate.

Dr Ralph Oduwole, says the lettuce is a natural herb that also acts as pain reliever for migraines, headaches and treatment for epilepsy. He was speaking on alternative medicines vs complimentary medicines of various diseases and cancer.

He further advises that men can reduce the risk of prostate cancer by eating the leafy greens, while many other fruit and vegetables, seeds and oils can help to relieve pain associated with several ailments affecting the kidney and liver and the prostate.
