Chinese infant formula firm Yashili International has recorded an increase in full-year earnings boosted by higher sales.In the 12 months to the end of December, net profit climbed 52.5% to CNY470.5m (US$75.7m), the company reported today (27 March). Operating profit soared 78.7% to CNY559.4m. Profit margin went up to 53.7% from 52%.
Net sales in the period were up 23.6% to CNY3.65bn.
