rganic salad producer Earthbound Farm, San Juan Bautistsa, Calif., is exploring a sale of the company, according to sources. Investors include private equity firm Kainos Capital, and Barclays has been hired to sell the company in a deal that could be worth $600-700 million, according to several sources.The sale process is in the early stages, the sources said. The company has roughly $75 million in annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), the sources say.
Earthbound Farm and Kainos Capital could not be reached for comment. Barclays declined to comment.
