Swiss smoked salmon coming to Canada
Allseas Fisheries Corp. has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Switzerland’s Mövenpick Gro…Allseas Fisheries Corp. has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Switzerland’s Mövenpick Group to market smoked salmon products.
Canada-based Allseas will produce and market the new Mövenpick Fine Foods premium smoked salmon line exclusively for the Canadian market.
The goal of the agreement is to product and market premium smoked salmon products under the Mövenpick of Switzerland through Allseas expansive distribution network in Canadian retail, club stores and foodservice markets.
“We are excited to leverage Allseas’ extensive seafood expertise and impressive distribution capabilities to support this important product launch,” said Guido Egli, Mövenpick Holding CEO.
The new Mövenpick line will be launched in the spring of 2013.
