In fact, in the National Restaurant Association’s 2013 “What’s Hot” survey, chefs from across the country ranked ethnic-inspired breakfast items as a top trend in their operations.

For the past four years, the DOLE Fruit Pairings have delivered tasty breakfast ideas from around the globe. Check out the 2013 DOLE Latin Fruit Pairings for recipes for Apple-Raisin Sopapillas and Sweet and Savory Empanadas. The 2012 DOLE Asian Fruit Pairings recipes offer comfort foods like Korean Bibimbap with Sweet Potato and Apple and Saigon Cinnamon-Banana Waffles. From earlier Fruit Pairings, the recipes for appealing eye openers like Sweet Balsamic Fruit Salad and Apple Carnitas Breakfast Burrito are posted on the Dole foodservice recipe database at www.dolefoodservice.com/recipes.
