The Wendy's Company sold 70 restaurants to MUY Hamburger Partners LLC, a Wendy's franchisee.

The restaurant sales are part of Wendy's plan to geographically concentrate its ownership through sales of 415 company-owned restaurants. So far, the company has sold 314 restaurants, and expects all the sales to be completed by the first quarter of 2014. Proceeds from the restaurant sales are estimated at $235 million, including $138 million in 2013.

The restaurants are in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metro. MUY Hamburger partners will now operate 87 Wendy's restaurants in Texas.
