The new Beef Frank includes higher levels of Omega-3 and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), and offers various health benefits.
The company said that its cattle are never administered hormones, sub-therapeutic antibiotics or confined to feed lots and beef is guaranteed to be GMO and gluten-free.
Tallgrass Beef founder and chairman Bill Kurtis said the company always wanted to produce the healthiest hot dog in the world.
"I think our Tallgrass Beef Frank will be the breakthrough, a gateway product that achieves full grass-fed health benefits plus a flavorful tasting experience," Kurtis added.
