Food 4 Less/Foods Co stores, a division of The Kroger Co. (KR), today announced that a tentative agreement has been reached with the seven southern California UFCW locals.

The agreement is fully-recommended and covers more than 6,000 associates working at 100 Food 4 Less stores in southern California.

The new agreement includes wage increases, quality, affordable health care, and financial support from the company for employee pensions.

"We are pleased to reach an agreement that is good for our associates, who will continue to have a solid and competitive compensation package," said Bryan Kaltenbach, president of Food 4 Less/Foods Co. "We appreciate the service our associates provide our customers and company every day."

The UFCW locals will schedule voting meetings with their membership for ratification.
