Brussel sprouts are bringing some much needed laughter to the UK. In a contest to find the best modern and festive joke, a joke featuring Brussel sprouts post Brexit has won. The anonymous joke contest polled twitter users for votes and gained a total of 2,000 participants.

The winning joke was created by Laura McDon and won 20% of the votes. The joke goes: How will Christmas dinner be different after Brexit? No Brussels.
