The first shipment, with 23 tonnes of the product, was sold by the company AVO Hass Colombia SAS, which processed fruit from growers based in Caldas, Quindio, Risaralda, Valle del Cauca and Cauca.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Mariana Sarasti, said that this was possible after the company managed to comply with all national requirements.
The manager of the exporting company, based in the Valley, the Chilean Sergio Torres Troncoso, stressed the support given by the Ministry of Commerce and the Anti-Narcotics Police in the logistics process.
