Until the end of September, banana wholesale prices hovered around 3.5 Yuan per kilogram. Prices did go up a little during the period of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Holiday, but started to drop after the holidays.
At this moment, best quality bananas cost around 3 Yuan per kilogram. Prices for normal quality bananas vary at this moment between 1.2 RMB and 2.4 RMB per kilogram.
