Mr Tarek Kabil, Egyptian Minister for Trade and Industry, confirmed the Ministry's keenness in benefiting from the Indian experience in the establishment of industrial clusters, pointing out that trade relations between the two countries are seeing a remarkable development. While the average trade exchange between the two countries in 2014 amounted to about $ 5.5 billion, the Ministry aims to increase it to $ 8 billion in 2016.

The Minister made this statement after a meeting with the Indian Ambassador in Cairo last week, in which it was confirmed that there are significant opportunities to increase Egyptian exports of agricultural products to India, especially fruits and vegetables.
