Everything is ready for Gruppo Mazzoni's arrival at Fruit Attraction in Madrid, being held from the 28th to the 30th October.

"Trying to reach the international market is hard work - we have been working for years to develop the markets outside the Old Continent in countries such as India, China, Uruguay, US, Canada and Arab Emirates," explains sales manager Sergio Trevisan.

"Mazzoni Ortofrutta has 50 years experience in the processing, stocking and packaging of fresh produce, therefore it can meet the demands of all clients, even the ones located far away. To be able to export, you need to be organised and have state-of-the-art machinery, that is why we are always up to date with the latest technologies."

Mazzoni reaches extra-EU markets with different products - Hayward green kiwis, golden kiwis, apples, pears, Pdo garlic from Voghiera and plums. There are also branded products such as Pink Lady® and Modì® apples and Opera® pears.

The volumes exported to extra-EU countries increased a lot during the 2014/15 sales campaign - 18% more kiwis, 16% more apples, 8% more pears and 3% more plums.

"Our company is investing a lot in branded products because it believes the recognisability of the product is positive for the whole chain."

"Soreli® golden kiwis are our new challenge. We have already loaded a few containers headed overseas and we are hoping to do the same with other products."

At Fruit Attraction, you can find Mazzoni in the Italy booth, number D10A in hall 7.
