ITC Packaging, a part of Grupo ITC, has designed new propylene packaging for Italian food company Buitoni’s completissimo, a new easy to use ready pasta product.

The microwavable individual-portion pack features materials with organoleptic properties that keep up the integrity of the food and enable pasteurization while the food is in the microwave.

ITC stated that the product has been designed according to the 'ready to use' concept the food can be mixed and eaten for instant eating any time with a wrapping that assures maximum packaging hygiene.

Suitable for subsequent use in the consumer's microwave, the pack also includes a combination spoon-fork that allows consumers to eat the product straight from the pack.
