Alcampo To Supply BP Stores In Spain

Alacampo, the Spanish subsidiary for Auchan has signed an agreement to supply the convenience stores of the petrol station BP for the next three years.

The alliance will start in January 2014 and will initially cover 118 service stores, but the objective is to extend the supply to all BP stores in Spain, representatives from both companies have said. There are more than 650 BP service station in Spain.

The convenience stores will provide a wide range of products including food and non-food products, ‘Auchan’ private label products and also branded products.

Both companies said in a joint statement that this initiative responds to their respective service policiess and approach to customers.

For Auchan, the deal confirms its commitment to improve purchasing power and quality of life for more customers. While, in the case of BP, it aims to add value to all its customers, making its offer more attractive, while responding to its customer’s needs throughout its network of service stations.
