Pakistan fruit & vegetables exports increasing

 During first month of current financial year, fruit and vegetables exports from Pakistan registered a growth of 54 percent and 3.12 percent respectively as compared the same month last year.
 
In August 2018, about 33,1 tons of fresh fruits of all kinds, worth $30.02 million was exported. At the same time last year this stood at 17,1 tons worth S$ 19.49 million.
 
According the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, 38.9 tons of vegetables worth $10.65 million were exported as against the exports of 27.9 tons at $10.33 million of same period of last year, it added.
