A new vessel sharing agreement between Arkas Line and Seago Line, a subsidiary company of the Maersk Group, see Arkas line strengthening its position in the Mediterranean region.

Deploying one of Seago Line’s vessels into ASA Service and putting a newly acquired vessel into the same service, Arkas Line has increased its service capacity by putting a larger vessel into service.

Arkas Line will operate two vessels (Cinzia A and Stanley A) and Seago will operate one vessel in the ASA Service.

Cinzia A, Arkas’ 45th vessel, was purchased in April 2016. The 2001-built vessel has a nominal container capacity of 2452 TEUs and 400 TEUs of reefer capacity.

Stanley A’s nominal container capacity is 2824 TEUs and the vessel’s reefer capacity is 566 TEUs.

ASA Service follows Valencia (TCV and Noatum terminalls) Castellon – Barcelona – Fos – Thessaloniki – Marport –İzmit – Gemlik (Rodaport) – İzmir (Tce Ege Aliaga) – Cagliari – Valencia route.
