According to Jiangsu Suqian Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, a total of 100kg Hongze Lake crab was successfully exported to Malaysia after passing inspection and quarantine.

As one of the top ten crabs in China, the Hongze Lake crab in mainly exported to more than a dozen regions and countries, including Hongkong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Arab and so on.

Different from other origin of places, like Anhui, Hunan, Hubei etc, everything goes well in Suqian, Jaingsu where there is no floods disaster. According to collected statistics, Suqian exported 223 batches, 455.64 tonnes and 15, 245, 000 US Dollars worth of crabs overseas, topping the whole prince for 10 straight years.

To ensure the successful export of Hongze Lake crab, the Bureau strictly sticks to relevant standards and regulations with the aim to ensure the quality. Besides, the bureau also carries out surveillance of whole process of crab farming, monitoring risks and disease breakout situation, to meet the requirements of import regions and countries and further improve competitiveness of the Hongze Lake crab.
