China：Weekly Review of Food Standards and Regulations(1223-1224)

 

　　On January 12th, 2018 Ministry of Agriculture issued Announcement No. 2638 about stopping use of 3 veterinary drugs including olaquindox, arsanilic acid and roxarsone in food animals. Since May 1st, 2018, approval number of bulk drug, various preparations and veterinary drug products would be canceled. For products produced before April 30th, 2018, they may be sold and used until April 30th, 2019. Since May 1st, 2019, business and use of bulk drug and various preparations of the 3 veterinary drugs would be stopped.

 

　　Notice of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine about soliciting opinions on “Specifications for implementation of supervision and sampling inspection of quality of food related products”

 

　　On January 16th, 2018, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued a notice about soliciting opinions on “Specifications for implementation of supervision and sampling inspection of quality of food related products” involving 24 kinds of products of 11 categories. Opinions should be submitted before February 16th, 2018.
