China：Weekly Review of Food Standards and Regulations(1230-1232)

 

　　On February 6th, 2018, Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China issued 291 national standards including “Cube sugar”， 3 amendments of national standard and English text of 60 national standards. Food related standards such as “White granulated sugar”， “Soft white sugar” and “Sugar classification” would be implemented in 2018.

 

　　National work conference on food business supervision was held in Beijing

 

　　From January 31st to February 1st, 2018, national work conference on food business supervision was held in Beijing. Major work of food business supervision in 2018 were as follows: promotion of quality safety of catering industry, business and supervision of network food, implementation of enterprise entity responsibility and prevention & control of food safety risks, etc.

 

　　National work conference on food safety sampling inspection and early warning exchange was held in Beijing

 

　　From February 5th to 6th, 2018, National work conference on food safety sampling inspection and early warning exchange was held in Beijing. Major work were as follows: increase in sampling inspection, ability improvement in risk early warning, open and transparent for inspection and verification information, promotion in verification and disposal capability, and ability improvement of inspection agencies.
