According to the database of China Business Industry Research Institute, China's tea exports showed an increasing trend from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, China's tea exports were 355 258 tons, an increase of 8.1% over the same period last year. In 2018, China's tea export volume maintained a growth trend, and in January 2019, China's tea export volume was 32,391 tons, an increase of 5.1% over the same period last year.
