Russians set on importing Guimaras mangoes from Philippines

 A leading Moscow-based company known for importing food products from Southeast Asia, Japan and China has expressed strong interest to promote Philippine products to the Russian market. It is focused in particular on the world-famous Guimaras mangoes.
 
Officials of the Exim Pacific -led by its Chief Executive Officer Denis Gisov and Development Director Andrey Vagin- recently reached out to the Philippine government to express their strong interest to import mangoes from the province of Guimaras.
 
News.mb.com.ph reports that the Russian businessmen noted that, while processed Philippine food products like dried mangoes and mango juice are currently being sold in Russia, they have yet to see the fresh Philippine mangoes on Russian supermarket shelves.
