The Dalian Xingyeyuan Company arranged for several Malaysian pineapple suppliers to organize promotional activities in Beijing. The Malaysian Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry gave their full support to these activities, which provided many Chinese consumers with the opportunity to taste real Malaysian pineapples.

Dalian Xingyeyuan owns 151 fruit plantations. Since Malaysia is close to the equator, the temperatures are high and stable, which provides pineapples with excellent growing conditions. The production season lasts the entire year. In addition, sunshine is abundant and the difference in temperature between day and night is small. Therefore, the sugar content of Malaysian pineapples is higher than in pineapples from other areas.

The Malaysian pineapple suppliers who participated in these activities included Aqina Sdn.Bhd, Naza Plantation Sdn.Bhd, Top Fruit Sdn.Bhd, and Kulim Pineapple Farm (KPF).
