It said that year-on-year, exports surged by 49,000 tons (+67.7%), exceeding last year’s total exports by 444 tons.
The ministry said that this year, exports of apricots saw an unprecedented growth. To date, 51,594 tons have been exported, 81.2% more than in 2017.
Arka.am reports how Armenian fruits and vegetables are mostly exported to Russia -about 114,603 tons or 94.5% of the total. The rest was sent to Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Belgium, Romania, Macedonia, Kuwait, Qatar and the USA.
