According to a Sohu Science and Development report, the citizens of 42 Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou will be able to get goods delivered for free at their doorstep. Jingdong Logistics also announced that it is adopting an 'open and smart' strategy. Thereby it wants to become the provider of fundamental facilities for the whole of China. Jingdong also hopes that the logistic opening-up also becomes the starting point for an outward opening up on the whole conglomerate level.
