Hungary has agreed to the extension of the quota for Ukrainian carriers as a way to boost trade, as announced by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Volodymyr Kistion, after a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Economy and Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Siyyarto.

"I also want to emphasise that it was agreed to increase the quota of permits for Ukrainian carriers. This will give an opportunity to revitalise our external economic relations," said Kistion.

He reported that the meeting also served to discuss the prospects of joint infrastructure projects related to the modernization and construction of border crossing points, border roads and other such initiatives. These issues will be addressed during an official meeting of the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Hungary.
