Jamal Razzaghi, a member of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), and Indonesian Ambassador to Tehran Octaviano Alimuddin met in Tehran to discuss potential cooperation.
Jamal Razzaghi highlighted the importance of Indonesia for Iranian traders as it is an OPEC state and called for improving trade volume of the two countries to more than 2 billion dollars a year. “Having in mind the capacities of Indonesia, as a big producer of oil in Southeast Asia, the ground for exporting technical and engineering services to Indonesia’s energy sector is promising,” said the Iranian official of ICCIMA.
The Indonesian Ambassador to Tehran Octaviano Alimuddin in this meeting stressed the development of bilateral trade ties between the two countries and said that his country is willing to import dates from Iran. Calling for introduction of Indonesia’s capabilities in marine products, mining, tropical fruit, and textile industries.
