The port imported 24 thousand tons of durian in the period between January and July, 2018, which is an increase of 480% in comparison with the same period in the previous year. Durian import in Mohan port accounts for 22% of the overall fruit import. The import value of durian in Mohan port is 370 million yuan [54 million USD], which accounts for 28% of the import value of fruit in Mohan port.
