A plane loaded with Chilean fruit arrived at Zhengzhou International Airport just after midnight on November 12th, 2018. This is the first air freight of imported fruit from South America to arrive at Zhengzhou Airport this year.

An employee at Zhengzhou Airport stated that the plane delivered more than 80 tons of Chilean fruit, mostly cherries and blueberries. There are 20 more flights scheduled to deliver a total of more than 2,000 tons of Chilean cherries and blueberries to Zhengzhou Airport. They are expected to arrive throughout December.

Zhengzhou Airport currently has 6 designated terminals for imported fruit, frozen and fresh aquatic products, meat, Australian cattle, and international mail. No other airport in China has a larger number of designated terminals or a wider variety of commercial services.
