 Krispak, Inc. of Grand Rapids, MI, is recalling GFS brand Honey Roasted Peanuts because they may contain undeclared Tree Nuts – Pecans. People with allergies or sensitivities to tree nuts should not eat this product as they run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do.

The recalled nuts, labelled GFS Honey Roasted Peanuts, were distributed to Gordon Food Service distribution centers in FL., MA., MI., OH and PA. They were packaged in  38 oz PET plastic jars with the lot number 176-16 stamped above the UPC code 093901252562 and GFS reorder number.
The recall was issued after the discovery of pecans mixed in with the peanuts. At the time of the recall, no illnesses had been reported.
