The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Food and Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has categorized this as a “Class I / High Risk” recall. Blossom Foods, LLC is headquartered in Oakland California.The meat and poultry products were produced over the course of a year, between August 23, 2016 to August 23, 2017, and are marked with expiration dates set one year after the initial date of packaging. Distributed to institutional locations in California and Ohio, the cases bear the establishment number “EST. 51200” or “P-51200” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
