According to data published by the Central Reserve Bank (BCR), Peruvian agricultural product exports amounted to 550 million dollars in July 2019, i.e. 23% more than in July 2018.

According to the BCR, the increase in exports was mainly due to the higher volumes of agricultural products shipped, 22.6% of which corresponds to the increase in shipments of fresh blueberries and asparagus. In addition, prices have increased by 0.3% on average.

Sales to the main destinations also increased as follows: sales to EU countries (50.4%), the United States (15.8%), Ecuador (26.9%) and Colombia (104.3%).
