EU data show that between July 1, 2018 and February 3, 2019, EU soft wheat exports in 2018/19 amounted to 9.445 million tons, 26% less than the same period last year's 12.784 million tons. In 2018/19, the EU barley export volume was about 2.879 million tons, 15% less than that of 3.381 million tons in the same period last year. So far, EU maize imports in 2017/18 are about 14.64 million tons, an increase of 45% over the same period last year of about 10.13 million tons.
