The new smoky, sweet Korean BBQ Beef Simmer Sauce is made with all-natural ingredients, the company claims.

According to the company, this cooking sauce is certified Gluten-Free by GFCO and is free from preservatives.

Commenting on the launch, Passage Foods official Mark MacKenzie said that Korean foods have moved past fermented Kimchi and now have consumers demanding traditional dishes such as Gogigui-style marinated meats, vegetables seasoned with Dwenjang, a fermented soybean paste, or Gohujang, a hot pepper paste.

"As the consumer samples these traditional flavors, they are being rewarded with great new tastes that are both historic in Korean culture and also offer healthy qualities," added MacKenzie.

Passage Foods produces cooking sauces. It offers Indian, Asian, Moroccan, Italian, Sri Lankan, and European food sauces.
