Pacific Foods has introduced Organic Spicy Black Bean & Kale and Organic Split Pea & Uncured Ham varieties in its existing line of more than 20 ready-to-eat soup variants.

Made with organic, non-GMO ingredients, the new offerings are currently available at grocery and natural food stores across the country for SRP $3.19 - $3.89 for 17oz.

The soups are packaged in recyclable, easy-to-open, BPA-free Tetra Recart cartons better flavor and a smaller carbon footprint.

Pacific Foods marketing vice president Kevin Tisdale said consumers want to eat healthier meals, but that often means bland taste or time-intensive preparation.

"The new hearty soups reflect current health trends, so consumers can upgrade classic pantry staples with organic, nutrient-dense versions and explore new, bold flavors in everyday meals," Tisdale added.

Established in 1987, Pacific Foods is a manufacturer of all natural and organic food and beverages including soups and sauces, broths, non-dairy beverages, meals and sides.
