Unilever, an Anglo-Dutch multinational consumer goods company, has unveiled two new spreads, I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Deliciously Simple and Country Crock Simply Delicious.

Featuring simplified recipes, the creamy spreads are a blend of ingredients such as canola oil, nonfat yogurt, salt and natural flavors and contain no artificial preservatives and zero gram trans fat per serving.

Unilever North America Foods vice president Mike Faherty said, "Consumers are seeking foods with simpler ingredients, and it's our responsibility as the global leader in the spreads category to listen and respond to those needs."

"I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Deliciously Simple and Country Crock Simply Delicious offer consumers the simplified recipe they are looking for, while delivering delicious flavor and adding richness to any meal," Faherty added.

The spread are being showcased at the ongoing sixth annual Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE.

I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Deliciously Simple and Country Crock Simply Delicious are being featured in various recipes including pancakes and baked spiced apples; cranberry almond Brussels sprouts; and, rosemary and garlic grilled potatoes.

Available in 12oz tubs, the spreads join the company's existing portfolio, I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!, Country Crock, Brummel & Brown, Promise and Imperial.
