Land O'Lakes, a farmer-owned food and agricultural cooperative, has added Teriyaki to its line of Sauté Express Sauté Starters.
Sauté Express Sauté Starters are an all-in-one combination of seasoned butter and spices that cook and flavor vegetable or protein products such as chicken, pork, shrimp or tofu.
Set to be available in the dairy case this fall, the Teriyaki offering gives flavors of ginger and sesame to the Asian dishes, the company said.
Land O'Lakes Test Kitchen director Becky Wahlund said, "Consumers have been telling us they want more Asian flavors. I'm so excited to share Teriyaki Sauté Express® Sauté Starter -- and all the new recipes we have developed."
Sauté Express Sauté Starter existing flavors include Garlic & Herb, Italian Herb, Lemon Pepper and Savory Butter & Olive Oil. The products have a suggested retail price of $3.79 for a single-flavor package of six 1oz. Squares.
