Independent sauce makerTomato Ketchup, Stokes is adding new ‘Chipotle Ketchup’ to its real food sauces.

With an Italian tomato base, infused with the smoky spice flavours of real Chipotle chillies, Stokes Chipotle Ketchup packs a punch and aims to become another popular addition to the range of table sauces.

Versatile, the sauce is aimed at lovers of spice, who want a quality sauce, made from ingredients they can enjoy at home.

Listed in Waitrose, Ocado, Booths and East of England Coop, Stokes Ketchup has come a long way since it was first created by founder, Rick Sheepshanks back in 2004, when looking to encourage his daughter to eat more vegetables.

Today, the collection includes Bloody Mary Ketchup, made with real vodka and Chilli Ketchup, a traditional ketchup with a kick and it was the success of such combinations that prompted this latest addition to the family.

Rick said: “Chipotle peppers work fantastically well in ketchup, giving a smoky taste I love and it is a flavour that is increasingly popular for burgers, barbeques and hotdogs.”

Perfected by experts at the Suffolk Saucery with almost 20 years of sauce making experience, Stokes aim to produce the ‘best sauce you can buy in a jar’, by creating unique recipes.

Whether it be Italian tomatoes or unrefined cane sugar, there is no cutting corners and it is this philosophy that has seen the company go from strength to strength.

Sales of Stokes Tomato Ketchup have increased 40% in the last year alone.

Later this year, Stokes celebrates a birthday, as it continues to develop and grow its product range, selling sauce both across the UK and globally.
