Brian Buck, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Takasago International Corp. (USA) Flavor Division, underscored the important role that Colin Scott represents in the company’s focus on savory products. As Global Category Director – Savory, Mr. Scott operates from the Flavor Division’s European Headquarters near Cologne, Germany.

Mr. Scott has been with Takasago since 2012. He has been dedicated to leveraging Takasago’s key savory competencies and technologies to major and specialized worldwide food companies. Mr. Scott has a successful record of working with key global stakeholders and customers. As the company’s savory sales director, he defined a five year approach to transforming Takasago into a major savory flavor supplier. He succeeded in double digit growth in the segment’s revenue.

Colin Scott’s extensive background also features key leadership roles at other topnotch flavor and food ingredient companies in Europe. He holds Masters in Food Science from Leeds University and a Bachelor of Science earned at Nottingham University.
