The exports of fresh cherries from Uzbekistan in 2022 started in the first days of May – 4-5 days earlier than last year, and according analysts claim that about 350-400 tons were exported from May 1 to May 4, 2022.
According to producers, cherries of the “Bakhor” variety, from which the export season begins, ripened in Uzbekistan by the end of April – beginning of May. According to the head of one of the export companies of Uzbekistan, the director of Rizq Agro Group LLC Urinbayev Shakhboz from the Fergana region, cherries of 20-26 mm caliber are currently offered for export.
